Liberty Leading the People is a painting by Eugène Delacroixen 1830 and preserved in the Louvre Museum ParisThe canvas depicts a scene of the July 28, 1830 in which the people of Paris barricaded box. King Charles X of France was abolished by decree elparlamento intended to restrict press freedom. Initial disturbances became an uprising that led to a revolution followed by angry citizens of all social classes. There was not a single leader. So Delacroix Liberty represents guidance leading to the village. Nor is represented in an abstract way, but it is a very sensual and actual allegorical figure.
